like turn the crank but with fire, love it :D

At first this seemed like it was gonna be a simple game.  But there is a lot going into this game and it took me a while to finally start figuring things out.  It's a good thing we don't need me running the furnace lol.

this is really cool! love the aesthetic and vibes. It takes about 45-60 minutes to finish, feels like it should be half that unless you add more thematic stuff. The scrap accumulation is way way slower than heat which slows down everything. But really loved it!!! Also a nice ambient fire crackling would be nice since there's no audio :)

Godot, is that C# or c++?

This feels very inspired by "A Dark Room" but its still a great game that I enjoyed playing.

It doesn't work for me on Firefox Ubuntu, to click on "Continue". I'll download it and get back to you

adding on, it wouldnt work on chrome for me. Nothing happens when i click 'continue'
I was able to solve it by going into the 'config' and clicking 'delete save'
definitely a bug to work on, but it is a game jam game, so bugs are expected at first

Thanks for letting me know. I've gotten some other reports, so you aren't alone! I've added a short troubleshooting section to the page - hopefully that can get you back on track!

A very well thought clicker with a sick design

Great work!

Now this is how you do a clicker/incremental game. Slick presentation, interesting mechanics, crazy endgame acceleration. Good job.

This reminds me in a good way of the Armory games, honestly

The channel heat upgrade that costs 400 and is supposed to upgrade capacity of heat to 800 kJ doesn't work. It leaves max capacity at 400 but increases the cost for the next upgrade to 800.

Cool system. I like how many things there are to upgrade and with the stokers and stoker speed.

"Channel Heat" upgrades don't upgrade the capacity of heat, they upgrade your work speed.

The upgrades that increase your heat capacity are "Heat Sink Expansion".

Short but fun. Great work.

The difference between its and it's

Here's the rub: its (without an apostrophe) is a possessive pronoun, like his or her, for nouns that don't have a defined gender. In contrast, it's (with an apostrophe) is the shortened form, or contraction, of it is or it has.

Thank you for pointing it out. My brain struggles with defined gender on a good day.

Gramer iz imporint.
